Pain Killer!

Pain is the gift that no one wants!

CS Lewis once said, "pain, the megaphone of God! God whispers to us in our pleasure, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains. It is the megaphone to rouse a deaf world."

This reminds me of the story of the farmer and the hound dog. They were on the front porch of the farm when a city type, door to door salesman approached. The sales man had a wonderful presentation about his product line, but every time he started to get the farmer's attention the old hound dog would pop up his head and howl. After the third interruption the frustrated salesman asked the farmer, "why does your dog do that?" The farmer replied, "he's lying on a nail and it's poking him." So the salesman queried, "so why doesn't he get up and move?" The farmer looked hard at the city raised salesman and announced, "It doesn't hurt enough yet!"

We confront pain when the pain of staying the same exceeds the pain of change. People have a habit of accepting their position in the septic tank where it's all warm and unchallenged until one day their sense of smell kicks in and they realize, "hey this stinks!" Only then will the discomfort of change be accepted readily. It's been said that the only human to readily accept change is a baby with a soiled diaper. As I look around me and see all these hurting people I used to wonder why. Now I understand it's from a lack of information multiplied by the stubbornness factor.

That information is about to go public. Your pain doesn't have to continue, and the gradual change toward a brand new you to bring into a bright new future is just a few days away. Welcome to the information engine called LIFE! Success principles are not that difficult, and the reward is pain free. Come join us as we grow and provide answers to Life's most difficult questions. We're about to change the culture, stop the need for our youth to camp out, hygiene free, in the middle of a metropolis because they are frustrated and scared about why lies ahead. Fear is conquered by the light of good information, the answers supply comfort.

LIFE has an explanation!

God Bless!
Capt. Bill
