Proverbial Fishing!

Today's Blog is going to be short and sweet as it has been designated as a day of fishing by Orrin, so there is much to do this morning. I ran across this wonderful explanation about biblical proverbs, so I thought I'd share.....

"A proverb is an expression of practical wisdom that is drawn from the daily experiences of life. For example, in English we have the proverbs "Look before you leap," and " He who hesitates is lost." If you made those out to be absolutes, they would cancel each other out. The same would be true if we made all the proverbs in the Bible into absolutes."

It's best to remember there are but a few absolutes. The most important is God is your Creator and Jesus is your Savior.

Gone fishin....

God Bless!
Capt. Bill
