Love Is.......

I thought it might be a good time for all of us to feel the love. Here's a few of my favorite observations ....

"The only place outside of heaven where one can be perfectly safe from all the dangers of love is hell, and that's because love is totally absent there." -CS Lewis

The real benefit of true love comes from loving others before it comes from being loved. To give is to receive- not the other way around.

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on it's own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends."- Corinthians 13:4-8

"By this we know love, that He (Christ) laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers."-1 John 3:16

"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly broken."-CS Lewis

And finally...

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
