American poet/novelist/historian, Carl Sandburg is quoted as saying, "Nothing happens but first the dream." Henry David Thoreau a noted essayist/poet/philosopher reminds us to, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you've imagined." My personal favorite is a song! A song that inspires us to chase that elusive dream and never quit, "'til you find your dream!" It was written by Oscar Hammerstein ll, he was part of the duet, Rodgers and Hammerstein. While they are credited for many, many works, this 1959 classic was part of the sound track for The Sound of Music. Please enjoy and live the words of Climb Every Mountain!
Climb every mountain, search high and low
Follow every byway, every path you know.
Climb every mountain, ford every stream,
Follow every rainbow, 'til you find your dream!
A dream that will need
all the love you can give,
Every day of your life
for as long as you live.
Climb every mountain, ford every stream,
Follow every rainbow, 'til you find your dream!
God Bless!
