Merry Christmas to each of you and may your blessings be many! It's the season of giving, a season that should never end. We are here on earth to serve others, anything less is simply selfish. The highest accolade a man can receive is to be known as a servant leader, as a man that walks with God in his heart. When that's achieved, and we live our lives in a way that will impress and inspire others, they automatically turn to us when trying times arrive, and they will.
Not once in history has a man reached a level of significance without adversity. Adversity is the challenge handed to us that attempts to undermine our faith and principles; questioning our ability to maintain a sure footing and being an immovable object when those are called into question. What better time to renew that faith than the day we celebrate the birth of our Savior?
Remember not to allow yesterday to be an excuse for a brighter tomorrow. That's a trap set not by God, but by those who have a horse in the race, betting your not going to overcome. Have a blessed day, and take stock in where you are in your leadership journey. The best present of all is to cede yourself a brighter tomorrow.
God Bless!
Capt. Bill
