The Beginning Of Knowledge!

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction. My son hear the instruction of your father, and forsake not the law of your mother."-Proverbs 1:7-8

Mankind has a history of getting all wrapped up in itself first. While it is a selfish attitude, something can be said for the instinct of survival. Yet this quote brings survival to light, because without the understanding that God is our Creator and putting our faith in His hands is essential to something more than just survival or existence, our instinct insists we busy ourselves maintaining self preservation. We need to make the time to acquire the knowledge that deepens and reaffirms our faith, then we'll move from simple survival mode to a life of significance. Also the proverb tells us as parents we must awaken that knowledge in our offspring, and they need to listen.

It's simply a success key, taken directly from the owner's manual of life, the Bible. A great example of why we include faith in the teaching and mentoring of the LIFE opportunity. Success leaves clues, and there is a defined pathway to a life of significance. Society does it's best to muddle up that path with distractions, entertainment, and non-truth. Wouldn't we all agree that everyone's life would improve if they sacrificed just a short period of time everyday setting aside the TV or Internet, for reading some instruction about the principles taught in the Bible? Just some understanding of a few of the Ten Commandments would be a vast improvement in today's society. A quick glace at today's headlines should be enough to verify that. The mere living of those two short sentences that begin this blog would make a significant difference, and they came from the Bible, a place to find wisdom and instruction.....

God Bless!
