Try This for an Icebreaker!

I was just reading Al Gore's blog, as I was wondering with all this "unusual" weather, just what his views were. It's not his character to be silent, so I thought I'd see what kind of spin he's put on things. Especially since the lead UN climatologist just announced to the BBC news organization, that the better part of his data is either false or inaccurate.

So what does ole Al have to say? Well it appears that things are worse off in his eyes than initially reported. On scene reports from an Arctic icebreaker ship tell us that the density of the ice is not as thick as satellite images are revealing. You see the reports they relied so heavily on, images from space, were also discredited, as there was a glitch that overlooked ice cap growth the size of Alaska. So in rebuttal Al has chosen the eye witness accounts of an icebreaker ship. Not density scans, not fact, just some hearsay from a single ship, traveling in an undefined limited area. Beautiful!

Now as Al's putting his spin on this, as recently as 2/10/10, reports are surfacing that the earth has in fact not warmed since 1995. The same scientist who led the UN report is rebutting his own data. Admitting that most of it is in error, and now contradicting the claim that as Al puts it.... "the climate crisis is unfolding before our eyes." But that's not slowing Al down a bit! There is money to be made from this "crisis", Al has bet the farm on earth friendly technology. Which by the way is not a bad thing, but again, this is a crisis generated by Al to line his pockets. If there was no sense of urgency it might take decades for his profit to be realized.

So, I think it's plain, the only thing true about the climate crisis, is the crisis itself is man-made, and perpetuated by the economic factor. Follow the money!
