Politics and Football!

Here it is Super Bowl weekend and America has two great teams to root for. The offensive powerhouse and odds on favorite Indianapolis Colts, led by the soon to be hall of famer, Peyton Manning, and the underdog New Orleans' Saints, the rags to riches phoenix like, storybook team.

It's sure to be a great contest! Two high powered offenses led by veteran quarterbacks, in the tropical setting of Miami, Florida! Add some friends and it's bound to be an awesome weekend. Let's not forget the myriad of creative commercials we will all be entertained by!

Liberals everywhere have to be inspired by the "Who Dat" nation. Their rise to greatness after the Hurricane Katrina demolition of New Orleans is a shining example of bureaucracy stepping into help with financial aide, and government support. The Saints are the centerpiece of that town and statement to the people's tenacity to overcome! So I have to ask....Is it politically correct for the party who is constantly chiming in about the separation of church and state to root for a team called "The Saints?"

Just one of unanswered questions that'll be haunting me all weekend! Enjoy the game!

God Bless
Capt. Bill
