Everyday most Americans go to the faucet, open the tap and out spews government provided city water. It's been treated and filtered by a government facility with fluorides, chlorine and Lord knows what, to make it acceptable to government controlled guidelines. After all that government intervention and over site, how many of those customers would actually find the delivered product, that they pay handsomely for, acceptable to drink?
An overwhelming majority turn to entrepreneurs to provide them additional filtration and or bottled substitute to replace the less than desirable, government approved, final product.Once again proving the government cannot provide the simplest service better than the private sector.
Now with that in mind, who's overseeing the education of your children? Are you comfortable with government over site of your health care? Were you trusting in the government run programs to provide you with an acceptable lifestyle after your retirement? Has government intervention improved the banking crisis? Was it wise to use the government to rebuild the American automobile manufacturing industry? Oh I could go on forever.........
Just something to ponder next time you open that bottle of water.......
