Sow Your Garden!

"No stream rises higher than it's source. Whatever a man might build could never express or reflect more than he was. He could record neither more nor less than he had learned of life when the buildings were built.... His philosophy, true of false, is there. -Frank Lloyd Wright

"Give me six hours to chop down a tree, and I'll spend the first four hours sharpening the axe."-Abraham Lincoln

Wise words, preparation and knowledge are the keys to a successful outcome. How sharp is your axe? While most people will grab the dull instrument and wail away on that tree, that same contingency will abandon the task due to lack of results. They set themselves up for failure.

We have a tendency to think that once we walk out of the hallowed doors of a learning institution for the last time, our quest for knowledge is over. I love the comparison of you becoming ripe with knowledge, because we fail to realize the next step after ripe is rot. Personal growth should be a life long ambition. After all who among us wishes to rot on the vine?

God Bless!
Capt. Bill
