Are You A Rascal?

I just picked up a copy of Chris Brady's new book "Rascal" (Making a difference by becoming an original character). I've just started it, but I have to share some of the nuggets.....

"Sometimes even if he has to do it alone, and his conduct seems to be crazy, a man must set an example, and so draw men's souls out of their solitude, and spur them to some act of brotherly love, that the great idea may not die." -The mysterious visitor to father Zossima in The Brothers Karamazov

" To be nobody but yourself in a world that's doing it's best to make you somebody else, is to fight the hardest battle you are ever going to fight. Never stop fighting!"- E. E. Cummings

And that's just the first page! Even the foreword,(written by leadership guru Orrin Woodward) has nuggets...

"Rascals fear insignificance more than they fear peer pressure; they fear losing more than they fear change; they fear endless talk more than dangerous actions. I believe everyone has inside of them a rascal, but it has been buried by endless, mind-numbing conditioning to be part of the herd."-Orrin Woodward

Here's a little excerpt from Chris....

"It takes character to be who God called you to be without succumbing tot he pressures of others and their ideas of who you should be and how you should live." -Chris Brady from his book, "Rascal"

I hope I've inspired you to read on. This is a fantastic book about individuality, character, integrity, and principle. It includes an audio CD, and a self assessment test. If you can't find a copy, contact me!

God Bless!
Capt. Bill
