A Cure For The Mid-Week Hump!

"And all the trees of the field shall know that I the Lord bring low the high tree, and make high the low tree, dry up the green tree, and make the dry tree flourish. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it." -Ezekiel:17-24

Makes you sit up and take notice, no? Sounds like a great reason to give all the glory to the Lord whenever He's seen fit to allow us to shine in His honor. It also speaks to where our prayers of hope and our visions of the future should be directed. I'd rather be blessed with His fertilizer, than pruned back or pulled like a weed.

While Carl Sagan has noted, "nothing happens but first the dream," I'm thinking we might seek approval of that dream through prayer. Only by God's grace will that dream come to fruition. With prayer, all things are possible. So take a moment and lift your eyes up and honor the good in your life, and humbly ask for His grace on your vision of the future. It's a great way to get over that mid week hump!

God Bless!
Capt. Bill
