Today is a day of reflection! I've realized that no matter how screwed up this world seems or the troubles we face, there is always one constant. The ever present undying love from our maker above. Good friday is the day that Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice and was hung on the cross, then died for our sins. God, so love the world, (that's us), that he gave his only son. As a father I can appreciate the depth of that. Here's my take....No matter how bad or good it seems, remember that God loves you, and he doesn't create any junk.
Enjoy these three days of Easter, but keep in mind that though your darkest hours, your always loved. That's quite a commitment. I'll bet if you think about it there are some times that each and everyone of us is very hard to love. Yet it's still waiting there for us to accept. His arms are always wide open, despite our faults, that's devotion, and the one constant that everyone shares.
That my friends is the ultimate comfort in a world of uncertainty!
